Yesterdays first United Racing Series race of the season at Delaware Speedway did not go as planned. Our day ended early on lap 3 after another car had laid a bunch of oil on the track. This collected a bunch of front runners early. Once we were in the oil Gemmell had no where to go and was along for the ride. That's racing sometimes. ​Grisdale Showdown Race 1 winner
Our first race of the 2026 season was last night at Flamboro Speedway. The #3 APC Auto Parts Centres McColl Parts Dept car was fast right out of the box as we set the quick time in practice. In qualifying we managed to set the 3rd quickest time out of the 17 car field. We would start 3rd and early on moved up to 2nd. A restart with 15 laps to go would see us pass the 86 car on the outside and take sole possession of the lead. Gemmell would go onto win the 50 lap Grisdale Showdown feature.
