Gemmell qualified on the pole again tonight and after the inversion would have to start 6th. Gemmell would move to 2nd early on by lap 13 and spend the rest of the race trying to catch the 89c for first. We wouldn't be able to catch the 89c by the time the checkered flag flew so Gemmell would settle for a 2nd place finish. Gemmell now takes a 1 point lead on the 52 of Sheridan heading into the next Grisdale showdown series race on September 12th.

Gemmell qualified on the pole tonight. After the inversion we started 6th. We had a fast car and slowly picked them off one by one. We managed to get up to 3rd and tried to get by the 89c. We would finish 3rd tonight after a hard fought 50 laps.
