APC season ends in heartbreak

We had a really good McColl race car on Saturday in the Great Canadian Castrol 300. We started just outside the top ten but ran in the top 5 for most of the race. With 28 laps to go we were involved in an incident on the back straight with the 22 of Steckly. This sent both cars spinning and the #3 APC Auto Parts Centres car took heavy right front damage ending our night while running 3rd. Last night Gemmell would have to start 6th in the 7th Grisdale Showdown race of the year. At the drop of the green flag he quickly managed to get to 4th. By the time lap 20 came around Gemmell was now in 2nd place chasing down the 52 car the rest of the race for 1st. Gemmell would run out of time by the time the checkers flew and would finish 2nd.
