Gemmell Claims a Podium in the ACDELCO 159
Last night we raced at Delaware Speedway in the ACDELCO 159. The car was decent in practice but in qualifying but the car bottomed out on the track and we could only manage the 7th quickest time. Gemmell would start the 159 lap race in the 7th position and would ride around near there for the first 54 laps. Gemmell would pit for adjustments as the car wasn't handling very well. After the next restart Shae moved into the top 5 quickly. During another competition caution the crew put new right side tires on and Gemmell would claim 3rd place by the end of the 159 laps. All in all a good showing in front of all our sponsors. Gemmell salvages a last place starting spot
Last night we raced at Delaware Speedway in the Pennzoil 75 lap race. The car was quick in practice and qualifying but we didn't pass the post race qualifying inspection. This would mean we would have to start in 17th place in the feature race. Gemmell did the best he could but with a race with no cautions we only managed to get up to 6th at the checkered flag.
